Staff Password Reset Process
This article provides troubleshooting steps on how to submit a staff password reset request.
Symptoms:
Staff member forgot their password
Staff member cannot login
Staff member needs a password reset completed
Staff member is having issues accessing their account
Troubleshooting Steps:
Submit the password reset request through Service Desk
a. Have the staff member, or front office staff on their behalf, go to help.responsiveed.com.
b. Select Submit/Review Tickets.
c. Go to Submit New Ticket.Complete the ticket
a. For the ticket type, select Urgent Requests.
b. Choose Password Reset.
c. Within the password reset ticket, provide the staff member's email.Service Desk resets the password
a. After submitting the ticket, a Service Desk agent will reset the staff member's password and provide it within the ticket.
b. If the staff member is having issues accessing the account because of 2-Step Verification, contact the RES Service Desk for further assistance.
