Chromebook: How to Powerwash a Chromebook

Steps to Powerwash a Chromebook

• While the Chromebook is powered on, hold down CTRL + ALT + SHIFT and tap R.(You might have to tap R a few times.) When the reset screen appears, click Powerwash.

• Click Continue in the pop-up window.

• The Chromebook will begin rebooting and display a welcome screen after completion of the reboot.

• Click Get Started. 

• Connect to a network. Click Next.

• Press Accept and continue.

• When you get to the enrollment portion, type in this email credential to login:

• deviceenroll@responsiveed.com

• Click Next.

• To obtain the current password, you may call the Service Desk at 972-316-4546 M-F from 7am-5pm.  Please let them know that you were told to call to obtain the current password to enroll a Chromebook. The password is only valid for a short period of time. Then proceed to the next step.
  
  

• Click Next.

• Click Skip.
   

• Click Done.
